What is ADAS?
Modern European vehicles are packed with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems -the technology behind lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and more. These systems rely on precisely calibrated sensors: forward-facing cameras, radar modules, and ultrasonic sensors mounted throughout the vehicle.
When any of these sensors falls out of specification – after a windshield replacement, front-end repair, wheel alignment, or even a suspension component swap – the system must be recalibrated before it functions correctly. Driving on an uncalibrated ADAS system is a safety risk and may trigger warning lights or disable the feature entirely.
